[Hot Die Forging Technician (third shift)] – [Irvine, CA] – [22 – 2519]

We are currently seeking a forging technician at our Irvine, CA location.

This role assists press operators by performing a variety of tasks supporting the forging process of high-performance materials used in jet engine components for the aerospace industry.

A successful forging technician works collaboratively with the team, possess a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to accurately execute written work instructions.

We are currently seeking to hire for third shift from 8:00pm to 4:30am Monday through Friday.

Preparing metal stock for forging, positioning hot metal stock on hot dies and extracting hot forgings from dies Completing quality assurance and part tracking documentation Preparing thermocouple wiring Operating a forklift following safe work practices Other duties as assigned by supervisor We will train motivated, entry level candidates Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Ability to perform basic math Ability to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions Mechanically inclined Dedication to safe work practices We thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
