Job Description
The Sr. Network Engineer will manage and maintain our company’s enterprise network. As a senior network engineer, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring junior network engineering staff both at California Closets and our Managed Service Provider, as well as handling advanced support issues. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the functional management of our network, the delegation of tasks, and the resolution of network issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
- Installing and configuring networking hardware.
- Creating and implementing network security measures.
- Managing and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.
- Conducting regular network performance tests.
- Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff.
- Dealing with escalated network support issues.
- Drawing up network status reports.
- Reporting to the Senior Director of Technology
Qualifications
Skills/Abilities
- A history of internal communication that includes manufacturing, corporate, and other CCO teams.
- A history of external communication that includes clients, vendors, and service providers
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment an adapts quickly
- A self-starter who is systems minded and likes thinking analytically Must possess strong critical thinking, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure

- A natural problem solver with a strong desire to learn more about CRM – ideally having experience in Salesforce
- Organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent time management and project management skills
- Comfortable with Excel, have some understanding of databases
- A confident communicator – clear, professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Enthusiastic service attitude.
- Very knowledgeable of Epicor ERP.
- Understand many of the Cal Closets business processes which use the system.
- Ability to create/troubleshoot queries, reports and dashboards.
- Desire to continually learn more about the ERP system and its use by the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology or related field required
- At least 8 years of experience with enterprise networks
- High-level managerial skills
- Advanced project management skills
